hello there.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'm Jonah, a designer and photographer based out of the Atlanta area. I'm a sucker for a great story, and I'm looking to partner with creative studios and individual clients to lend my skills in creating something meaningful and memorable. Check out my design and photography work, or scroll down for details on my approach, philosophy, and style.

What makes me tick
Whether it's my personal life or professional life, I am passionate about helping people see—about inspiring hope and confidence. I love to take what I know and share it with others, and for the past 15 years I have honed my skills in both creating and in teaching others to create. I am a communicator skilled at navigating questions, guiding others to solutions, and taking complex information and ideas and making them easy to understand.
I value learning, simplicity, creativity + beauty, craftsmanship, character, history, story, hard work, small business, real people, family. Witty puns are life-giving. People > things...always.
These help shape my approach to life and my work. I have a number of interests and passions, but at the end of the day, what I’m most drawn to is genuinely helping people grow and flourish, and if I can help move you beyond what you thought possible, count me in.
My creative philosophy? Simple but not simplistic. Clean but not clinical. Pare down, not pile on.
My style? As a designer my style is structured and minimal, so I am most drawn to brand identity work, simple graphic illustrations, and publication and presentation design. As a photographer I am captivated by light, emotion, and story, and I am most at home with portraiture and documenting places, people, and events.
I'm a family-first kind of guy—a husband to Carrie and a father of three boys. And though we live in the suburbs of Atlanta, we'd all rather be out chasing waterfalls.
